Aileen's Piano Recital

I had the chance to take pictures and design these recital invitations for my friend Aileen, and I am kind of happy how they turned out. Very classy!

Eric & Lauren // Engagement

I will have to be honest with you, I didn't actually know if this shoot was going to happen. There were so many factors that kept getting in our way, but we made it there in the end thanks to God and prayer!

Lauren, first came to me through a Facebook message, a little before my winter break. A BIG thanks to Von Potter for recommending me! I have been wanting to cross off an engagement shoot on my list of photoshoot goals for some time now.

Eric and Lauren are such a sweet couple and were very easy to work with. They had so many good ideas, and I loved getting the chance to shoot their engagement pictures. An even bigger surprise was in store for Lauren though! The thing was, he hadn't actually proposed to her yet. Eric was going into the military, and they both wanted engagement pictures taken before he left.

So, when Lauren went to sit down for pictures at the very beginning of our shoot and Eric was hanging back, I was getting a little suspicious as to why he hadn't sat down yet. Until he pulled a box out of his bag of stuff and walked over to her. I was so shocked and couldn't imagine what Lauren was feeling at that moment. I immediately started shooting and managed to capture this sweet moment as onlookers cheered and applauded near us.

I honestly couldn't have asked for a cuter couple to shoot for my first engagement. Thank you to Eric and Lauren for letting me shoot this important moment in your lives.
